Good to know
What do I need to rent?
A valid driver's licence (foreign licences in English are fine; otherwise an International Driving Permit), a passport or SA ID, and the refundable deposit. Minimum age 21; drivers 21–23 may carry a young-driver surcharge on premium cars.
How does the deposit work?
Each car lists its deposit (R8 000–R20 000). We take it by card payment or EFT before handover and refund it in full within 48 hours of return, after a joint inspection. No months-long card holds.
Is insurance included?
Yes — standard cover with an excess is included in every rate. You can halve the excess or reduce it to zero with a daily waiver; ask on WhatsApp when you book. Tyres, glass and undercarriage can be added too.
What's the km allowance?
Two plans on every car: 100 km/day (cheapest) or unlimited km. On monthly hire the standard allowance is 3 000 km with an unlimited option.
Airport pickup?
Yes — we deliver and collect at Cape Town International, the V&A, or any hotel/Airbnb in the metro. Delivery is free on hires of 7+ days, R250 below that.
Can I take the car out of the Western Cape?
Anywhere in South Africa — yes. Cross-border (Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, eSwatini) needs a letter from us — ask at booking, we'll arrange the paperwork.
Fuel policy?
Full-to-full. You get the car with a full tank and return it full — no service-fee games.
Can I pay cash?
Rental — card, EFT or cash. Deposit — card or EFT only (it protects both sides with a clear paper trail).
